About Clear Land Connect

Clearing an overgrown property can be difficult before the physical work even begins. Property owners may not know what the service is called, which type of company to contact, whether equipment can access the property, how much information a provider needs, or which businesses serve their community. Clear Land Connect was created to make that starting point easier.

One request. Better project information. A more relevant connection.

Clear Land Connect collects important property and project details, organizes the request and attempts to connect the property owner with an independent professional serving the area. We focus on California clearing and vegetation services, including:

Brush clearing
Land clearing
Forestry mulching
Lot clearing
Vegetation management
Weed abatement
Defensible-space work
Wildfire fuel reduction

This focused approach helps us understand the differences between a small residential cleanup, a steep hillside, a multi-acre mulching project and a notice with a firm deadline.

What Clear Land Connect is not

A clearing contractor
A landscaping company
A government agency
A fire department
An inspection service
An insurance company
A compliance-certification service
A party to the agreement between the customer and provider

Independent providers are responsible for their own recommendations, licensing, insurance, estimates, contracts and work.

Our approach

1

Clear information

We ask practical questions about the property so providers can better understand the request.

2

Local relevance

We organize requests by county, community and service area.

3

Appropriate matching

We consider the requested service, terrain, acreage, equipment access and project timing.

4

Customer choice

Property owners decide who to speak with and whether to accept an estimate.

5

Responsible growth

We expand into new markets as participating-provider coverage becomes available.

California-focused from the beginning

Clear Land Connect is built specifically around California properties, communities and vegetation-management needs. The Clear Land Connect network currently serves the Sierra foothill region — beginning with El Dorado County, the Placer County foothills and Nevada County — and additional California markets will be added as participating-provider coverage grows.

How we review participating professionals

Before a professional is listed as participating, Clear Land Connect reviews contractor license status (through the California Contractors State License Board), liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage where applicable. We also review listed service areas and project capabilities.

Verification is performed at the time of listing. Provider information may change, and Clear Land Connect does not guarantee that a provider remains licensed, insured, or suitable for a specific project. You should still verify licensing and insurance before hiring.
